It's the grownup's version of hitting Canadian Tire for binders and lined paper. Just picked up a fantastic dress by Montreal designer Marie-Eve Boutin (look for the green dress at Bahi-design.com). I have to say that it also makes you feel grown up when, as you're handing over your cash to the boutique owner without a second thought after buying the dress on a whim when your intended goal was a baguette, he tells you that tons of women have been drooling over the dress but that none of them have been able to afford it until you came by. Either that makes me financially secure or an old chick with young chick taste ;) With only 4 having been made, I'm pretty sure I won't be experiencing a repeat of prom and walking into a room only to find someone else wearing the same fantastic dress.
