Je me souviens
Visits to our neighboring province of Quebec, specifically the city of Montreal are always so much fun but never seem quite long enough. While there, we had the pleasure of visiting our favorite Montreal boutique Espace Pepin, located in the heart of old Montreal.

Espace Pepin is the perfect shopping getaway for those who are true appreciators of fashion as an art form. The owner of the shop Lysanne Pepin has created such a strong aesthetic which both of us at Las Valentias identify with and adore.

The boutique walls are adorned with Lysanne’s own artwork and a video installation runs on loop behind the cashiers counter.
This series is entitled “Weightlessness” and consists of the female form caught in a state of complete liberty, floating in freshwater.

Later, we met up with a PR friend of ours Michelle Sullivan at Boris Bistro. We tried to guess what this building may have been in past centuries…

The patio is even more beautiful, sitting in the gutted interior of the building.

Afterwards we jumped on the train and said goodbye to Montreal…and made our way home bound.

We’re very excited to have been added to the new boutique that is IDO (Independant Designer Outlet) located on the up and coming Dundas West. Lara Stephenson who owns the shop also owns Revolve clothing, a Toronto based conscious clothing line that has seen much success.
